John Benjamin Rogers was born at Bargoed, Glamorgan, and enlisted in London. He was killed in action in the attack on Mametz Wood on 10 July 1916 and is commemorated by name on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France. Sold with copies from the regimental War Diary.
