Durham Volunteer Artillery Boer War Tribute Medal, an engraved gold fob, marked 9ct., in the form of a shield, 28mm, by 23mm, the obverse with artillery cannon, below which is inscribed ‘1st Durham Volunteer Artillery’, masonic coat of arms and latin inscription; the reverse inscribed ‘Presented to Driver Charles Collins by the officers of the 1st Durham Volunteer Artillery as a souvenir of his services in South Africa 1900-1901’, with single loop suspension, good very fine and rare £200-300
