21st Royal Scots Fusiliers, a pipe-major’s (?) die-stamped gilt glengarry badge c1877-c1896, centrally St Andrew and Cross on a solid lined background, title circle inscribed, ‘21 ROYAL SCOTS FUSILERS’, at the top a small fused grenade, all within three-quarter thistle wreath surround, three loop fasteners, a similar one in die-stamped white metal, two loop fasteners, and a third variety with fretted centre, loop fasteners removed and pin bar fitted, the first item in mint condition, the second one with some damage to the lined centre background and strengthening bar fitted to the grenade, the third in good condition; together with two white metal QVC diamond pattern piper’s buttons, both with thistle centres but one with the Thistle Motto and the other with the post 1877 unit title, this one crudely relugged; two further small thistle spray badges (7) £150-200
