Gordon Highlanders, 5th Volunteer Battalion, a very fine and scarce other ranks die-stamped white metal glengarry badge, c1884-1908, large circular strap inscribed ‘DEFENCE NOT DEFIANCE’ enclosing a demi-lion rampant, sword in the dexter paw, tablet below inscribed, ‘5th V.B.G.H.’, mint condition £70-100
