1st Aberdeenshire Rifle Volunteers, a scarce other ranks die-stamped blackened brass headdress badge or pouch belt plate, St Andrew and Cross within thistle wreaths, titile scroll, ‘1st ABERDEENSHIRE’ at base with the county precedence number, ‘33’ below, two loop fasteners (Bloomer p87/88); together with an other ranks die-stamped white metal glengarry badge c1880-1884, St Andrew and Cross within an oval title strap, ‘1st ABERDEEN RIFLE VOLUNTEERS’ (Bloomer p87/88) (2), small fracture on the second item where the top right hand part of the cross meets the title strap, otherwise excellent overall condition £100-120
