25th (The King’s Own Borderers) Regiment, a very fine and rare cast silver (not HM) piper’s headdress badge pre 1881, a circular title strap encloses Edinburgh Castle on a torse, the mounts for the pin fastener have penetrated to the front of the badge, and the retaining clip for the pin is missing, no other facial wear to the badge £100-150

This lot was sold as part of a special collection, Scottish Badges from the Collection of the late Arthur Strutt.
