1st The Royal Regiment, a fine officer’s glengarry badge to the 1st Battalion, 1872-1881, facetted silver star with pierced gilt overlay, unit title now reads, ‘THE ROYAL SCOTS’, the gilt section with some wear, the blue enamel backing shattered and filled in with blue lacquer, repair to top star point the badge now brooched £80-120
