Highland Light Infantry, stated to be the 2nd Volunteer Battalion, a QVC star pattern back plate overlaid with a laurel wreath; this encloses the QVC officers’ glengarry/shako badge of the HLI, this in silver plate with gilt mounts, crown monogram scroll and Elephant, the scroll left blank (Bloomer p55/56), the back plate has been replated and is not the original back plate for the mount £150-200
