Scottish Borderers Militia (Dumfries Roxburgh Kirkcudbright and Selkirk), an extremely fine and rare officer’s QVC star pattern helmet plate 1878-1881, all silver plate with the Royal Crest in the centre ona black velvet backing, at the base a floreate scroll, ‘SCOTTISH BORDERERS’, near mint state £300-400
