Hosack Esqr For the Finest Spell of Working Cattle exhibited from Woodstock Estate, 1841), 61mm. Good very fine £250-300

Charles Theophilus Metcalfe, 1st Baron Metcalfe (1785–1846), was also acting Governor-General of India and Governor of the Province of Canada. The Honourable William Hosack (1808-89), b. Edinburgh, owned estates in Jamaica. The manor house at Woodstock has recently become a small hotel
