Ornithology, WARWICKSHIRE, Birmingham and Midland Counties Exhibition (Est. 1849), silver award medals by Ottley (3, different), groups of birds, revs. wreaths, named (To Mr Jas. Hand, Jun., Game Fowl, 1st Prize, Class 21, 1852; To Mr Thos. Taylor, for Emu, or Silky Negros, 3rd Prize, Class 43, 1856; To Mr Jas. Munn, for Silver Pencill’d Hamburgh, 3rd Prize, Class 30, 1858), 41, 47 and 47mm [3]. First very fine, set in silver ring mount and glazed [one lunette missing], with clip and ring for suspension, others better than fine but both edge knocked £80-100
