WORLD ART MEDALS France, Le Nid, c.1900, a large uniface bronze plaque by J.-B. Daniel-Dupuis, naked wood nymph kneeling on rock, discovering bird’s nest in a tree with two birds in it, 132 x 75mm (PBE 319; CGMP p.175; BDM I, 666; cf. BM Acq. 1983-7, p.20, 67; cf. BDW 9, 679 and DNW 45, 740). Extremely fine, rare in this size; set into a polished wooden frame incorporating an easel mount on the back (£90-120)
