Eue for Ball of Berlin, bust of Zeppelin three-quarters right, reverse Tower Bridge with road raised, two airships above the city in background, 108mm (E 1944; BDM VII, 275; Hill, BM Guide, 112; cf. Spink 17.vii.97, 253 [Æ]; cf. Bonhams 12.ix.96, 74 [Fe]; DNW 35, Lot 423); together with an alum. ring, mounted on card inscribed in ink “Baquefaite avec un debris de Zeppelin” [2]. An impressive medal, with some surface marks, otherwise extremely fine and rare (£250-300)
