George Edward Perry was born, lived and enlisted at Battersea, Surrey. Serving with the 10th Battalion The Queen’s (Royal West Surrey) Regiment, he was killed in action on 22 September 1917, aged 36 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Zonnebeke, Belgium. With copied war diary extracts and other research.
