27th Madras? Officer’s Sabretache Badge. A very fine gilt brass example showing the Imperial Victorian crown over laurel sprays in the fretted centre XXVII, three screwpost fasteners; together with two officers’ heavy die-cast silver plate horse harness badges to the Punjab Frontier Force both post 1902 one lacking fasteners; Sinde Irregular Horse officer’s waist-belt clasp bearing unit title and seven battle honours (some corrosion); Queen’s Own Corps of Guides a Victorian die-stamped white metal horse harness badge lacking one blade; Indian Medical Service an officer’s scarce EVIIR period cast silver plate pagri badge, a bronze KC cap badge and a pair of brass shoulder titles; an Indian Army General List GVR bronze cap badge and matching collars; an unidentified head-dress badge in die-stamped brass showing laurel sprays enclosing crossed cannon barrels and three lines of native script, some items require careful cleaning but good overall condition (13) £150-200
