Memorial Plaque 1914-18 (David Henry Hughes), good very fine £80-100

David Henry Hughes was killed in action on 9 April 1918, while serving as a Corporal on attachment to the 2nd Battalion, London Regiment from the Middlesex Regiment. Formerly a member of 2/3rd Company, London Yeomanry, and the holder of the the D.C.M., M.M. and Bar, he was the son of David and Ann Hughes of Canton, Cardiff and is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial.
