Private John H. Jarvis, 2nd Battalion The Queen’s Regiment entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 19 October 1914. Private Robert Hyde, 1st Battalion Scottish Rifles entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 22 August 1914. Private Edward C. Jobe, 3rd Battalion Rifle Brigade, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 23 October 1914. Private Edward Sparks, 1st Battalion Royal West Kent Regiment entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 8 November 1914; he was discharged on 19 March 1915 and awarded the Silver War Badge. All entitled to the 1914 Star, ‘Sparks’ confirmed as being awarded the clasp. All with copied m.i.c. and associated research.
