Medals Related to Sports, France, Billards, c.1910, a cast and chased uniface silver award plaque by Brennus for the Fédération Française du Billard, billiard player attempting a tricky shot, tablet and wreath below, engraved (Challenges Interclubs de l’U.V.F., Nos. 2-3 & 4, Club Athlétique de la Société Générale), 123 x 67mm; together with Fédération Française des Amateurs de Billards, c.1925, a bronze award medal by R. Baudichon, billiard player preparing to take a shot, reverse billiard balls and cues against a backdrop of foliage, tablet in foreground, named (Rouly, Champion du B.S. 1926, à la bande 1e Cie), 41mm. [2]. Very fine and better, both rare; first with easel-type display stand fitted to back (£40-60)
