Wyon, bust of Prince Albert left, reverse globe, edge inscribed (United Kingdom, Class I, No. 510; Class 22, No. 123; Class 22, No. 524), all 44mm (BHM 2463; E 1462) [3]. First extremely fine, second brilliant and as struck, last about extremely fine; last two in original maroon cases of issue (£35-50)

Cowper, Nenthead, Alston, Northumberland, proprietors of a lead mine at Little Eggleshope, Teesdale; 2nd awarded to Gilbert Bros, Sheffield, razor manufacturers; 3rd awarded to Guest & Chrimes, Rotherham Brassworks, manufacturersof a rather superior crimson velvet-covered water closet and a large variety of plumb ware in brass.
