Martinique, St. Vincent-Guadeloupe-Martinique, Authority on St. Vincent August 1798, Sixty-Six Shillings, Brazil, Joseph I, counterfeit 6,400 Réis, Rio, obv. countermarked s raised within a square indent four times spaced around the edge, originally with a plug of good gold later replaced with a plug of base gold, the base gold plug removed in Guadeloupe and the coin valued at 20 Livres per gros (authorised April 1803); the coin moved to Martinique, obv. countermarked 20 above eagle raised within a shaped indent (authorised September 1805), 7.96g/122.8gr (Gordon 104, this coin). Coin about fine and heavily clipped around the edge, countermarks good fine, of the highest rarity £3,000-3,500
