Army Meritorious Service Medal, G.V.R., 1st issue (M2-018659 Cpl., R.A.S.C.) nearly extremely fine £80-100

M.S.M. London Gazette 3 June 1919. ‘... in recognition of valuable services rendered with the Armies in France and Flanders.’ ‘M2/010659 Cpl., 24th Div. M.T. Coy. Royal Army Service Corps (Bletchley).’

Private Walter Crute, A.S.C., entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 24 August 1915. Later transferred to the Class ‘Z’ Reserve. Entitled to the 1914-15 Star, British War and Victory Medals. With copied gazette extract and m.i.c. for the W.W.1 medals.
