R.); Army Meritorious Service Medal, G.V.R., 1st issue (1484 R.S. Mjr., M.M. A.C.C.); together with an unnamed 1914 Star and an erased Victory Medal 1914-19, fine and better (6) £350-400

London Gazette 3 June 1919. ‘... in recognition of valuable service rendered with the Armies in France and Flanders.’ ‘1484 R./S.M., M.M., 11th Corps Cyc. Bn. Army Cyclist Corps (Exeter).’

Later served in the Devonshire Regiment. With copied gazette extracts and m.i.c. - the latter confirming the 1914 Star.
