M.S.M. London Gazette 3 June 1919. ‘... in recognition of valuable service rendered with the Armies in France and Flanders.’ ‘201759By./S.M., Royal Garrison Artillery (Wymondham).’

Serjeant John Clements, 7th Brigade, Royal Horse Artillery, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 15 August 1914. He transferred to the Royal Garrison Artillery on 13 December 1917. With copied gazette extracts, m.i.c. for the W.W.1 medals and M.S.M. details.
