Three: Petty Officer G. E. Cook, Royal Navy

1914-15 Star Trio (213561 P.O., R.N.) together with Bronze Memorial Plaque (George Edward Cook) nearly extremely fine (4) £80-120

George Edward Cook was killed aboard the destroyer Ariel which was sunk by a mine in the North Sea on 2 August 1918. He was the son of G. and A. M. Cook, of Haylands, Ryde, Isle of Wight, and was aged 33 when he was killed. He is commemorated by name on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial. Sold with copy service papers which show entitlement to the Naval L.S. & G.C.
