Kenneth H. Jones was appointed Surgeon, Royal Navy, in 1897; Staff surgeon, 1905; Surgeon Commander, 1911; Fleet Surgeon, 1913. Surgeon of Waterwitch in China 1900 (medal); present at the battle of Jutland, 31 May-1 June 1916, and awarded Russian Order of St Stanislas, 2nd Class with swords, London Gazette 5 June 1917; and Belgian Order of Leopold, Officer, London Gazette 29 August 1917.
