Victory Medal (464 Pte. R. E. Kelly, R.F.C.) extremely fine £15-20

Robert Edward Kelly served in France from 12 August 1914, as 1st Class Air Mechanic with No. 4 Squadron Royal Flying Corps. He died in France on 20 February 1915, aged 27, and is buried at St Omer in Longnevesse Souvenir Cemetery. He was the first Irish born other ranks Royal Flying Corps casualty of the Great War. Also entitled to the 1914 Star and British War Medal.
