Military General Service 1793-1814, 6 clasps, Ciudad Rodrigo, Badajoz, Salamanca, Vittoria, Pyrenees, Toulouse (Andrew Ellison, 43rd Foot) name re-engraved, regimental details correctly impressed; Waterloo 1815, the first very fine, the second severely worn, naming illegible and hole drilled at 12 o’clock for suspension (2) £150-200

Andrew Ellison was born in Omagh, Co. Tyrone, and enlisted there on 19 September 1810. He was discharged at Dover in March 1817, ‘The man states he has bad eyes, has lost the sight of the left and sees very little with the right.’ Sold with copy discharge papers.
