Victoria, Diamond Jubilee, 1897, a pair of bronze medals by F. Bowcher for Spink on behalf of the Corporation of London, bust left, revs. Londinia with attendants presenting garland to seated Britannia, both 76mm (W & E 3470.1; BHM 3510; E 1815) [2]. About extremely fine; in fitted double case [this broken] £200-250

Although 500 medals were struck, the only boxed double sets were given to Queen Victoria, the Prince of Wales, the Duke of York, the Duke of Connaught, the Duke of Cambridge and, possibly, the Marquess of Salisbury, the then Prime Minister
