Charles I (1625-1649), Coinage of the Lord Justices, Issue of 1643-44, usually called Ormonde Money, Halfgroat, ObvERSE Crowned CR, with pellet between C & R, there is also a pellet above either side of the CR., RevERSE "II" surmounted with small '"D" and seperated by a pellet (S 6550; DF 312; SCSI 5). Rare, about very fine (£450-600)
