Jesse Mary Stupart was a professional nurse from Fairview, Johannesburg, who joined the South African Military Nursing Service on 1 September 1917. Sold with confirmation for award of B.W.M. which was issued on 1 March 1939.

Sister Marie was a Roman Catholic Nun who served as a volunteer nurse with the East African forces.
