Lieutenant B. M. Liddell, R.N.R., died on 29 October 1919 and was buried in Ashford Bowdler (St. Andrew) Churchyard.

Able Seaman Albert Hilton, Hawke Battalion, Royal Naval Division, R.N.V.R., was killed in action on 3 January 1918, aged 29 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial. He was the son of Mrs Mary Hilton of 245 St. Helens Road, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire.
