Three: Private G. C. Wren, Middlesex Regiment

1914 Star, with copy slip-on clasp (L-11298 Pte., 4/Midd’x. R.); British War and Victory Medals (11298 Pte., Midd’x. R.) some edge bruising and contact marks, about very fine (3) £100-140

George C. Wren enlisted into the Army on 3 October 1906. As a Private in the 4th Battalion Middlesex Regiment, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 20 September 1914. Latterly serving with the Labour Corps, he was discharged on 16 February 1919 as a consequence of being wounded. Entitled to the clasp to the 1914 Star and the Silver War Badge. With copied m.i.c. and ‘War Badge’ roll extract.
