Nathan Young was born and lived in Widnes, Lancashire and enlisted at Warrington. Serving in the 11th Battalion South Lancashire Regiment, he died on 9 March 1916. He was buried in the Merville Communal Cemetery.

Thomas Wilson was born in Warrington, lived in Birmingham and enlisted at Derby. Serving in the 1st Battalion Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, he was killed in action, on 14 September 1914. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the La Ferte-sous-Jouarre Memorial.

Albred Beaver Longden was born in St. Helens, Lancashire and enlisted at Manchester. Serving in the 1st Battalion Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, he died of wounds on 14 May 1918. He was buried in the Etaples Military Cemetery. He was the son of William and Edna Longden of 230 Manchester Road, Denton, Lancashire.

James Hampson was born in Sunderland and enlisted at Warrington. Serving with “D” Company 2nd Battalion South Lancashire Regiment, he was killed in action, on 24 August 1914, aged 27 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the La Ferte-sous-Jouarre Memorial. He was the son of Edmund and Annie Hampson of 62 Shaftsbury Avenue, Roundhay, Leeds.
