Defence and War Medals; Australia Service Medal 1939-45, all officially inscribed ‘VX114031 A. C. McKay’; Efficiency Decoration, G.VI.R., Australia, the reverse officially inscribed ‘VX114031 Lt. Col. A. C. McKay, A.I.F.’, the first two a little polished and possibly with re-impressed naming, otherwise very fine and better (4) £250-300

Angus Conrad McKay was born in Sydney in February 1903 and enlisted in the Australian Army in September 1942. He was discharged in July 1946, direct from his duties at H.Q., Northern Territories Force.
