G. Pakhar Singh was a civilian worker in the Indian Army. During the Great War he served as a Sub-Overseer in the Mesopotamian Railways; during the Iraq campaign he held the same position in the Works Directorate, and in the Burma campaign was a Temporary Overseer in the Military Engineer Services.
