Sher Bahadur Khan enrolled in the Poona Horse, 28 May 1913. Appointed a Jemadar on 22 March 1917 and Risaldar on 4 December 1921. Appointed an Aide de Camp to the Military Secretary of Madras, 19 July 1930, he attained the rank of Risaldar Major on 21 March 1932. Appointed an Aide de Camp to the Governor of Madras on 15 November 1934. By 1936 he was listed as an Honorary Lieutenant. With copied research.
