Great Britain, Coronation of edward vii, 1902, silver medal for Northampton, published by W. J. Arnsby, with elaborate suspender and original (?) red ribbon, 39mm (BHM 3740). Virtually as struck and deeply toned (£20-25)

The BHM assessment that this medal is common in silver is not shared by the cataloguer. In our view view most local Coronation medals of this period in silver are rare, sometimes very rare.
