The KM entry seems in error in stating this set comprises only five coins. The mintage figure for the gold and silver sets quoted by KM for this year are 1,540. This is at variance with the figure of 1,520 the catalogue quotes for the large gold 500-Lekë, but possibly a number were held back by the Albanian authorities for archival reasons or for presentation. Figures for the smaller gold coins indicate these were marketed both as part of the sets and separately. A very scarce modern set, not often offered on the United Kingdom market.
