Edward VI (1547-1553), Third Period, Fine Silver Issue, Shillings, mm. tun (6), mm. y (1) (S 2482), all once used as gaming counters and sold complete with an (?) 18th Century silver lidded tube, an interesting and unusual offering [Lot]. Ex- Caythorpe Hall find, Grantham 1860, the coins in varied state from fair to very fine and cleaned, the silver container in very fine condition but bearing no hallmarks (£450-500)
