The catalogue entry for this type in the Mossop sale catalogue read “probably a forerunner for the crude Icenian head types.” Unusually heavy at 1.5 gms, the two Mossop coins weighed 1.32 and 1.25 gms. These coins, lots 86 and 87, described as VF and F, sold for £580 and £200 respectively.
