Trinovantes and Catuvellauni, Tasciovanus, Bronze Unit, pellet in centre of star-shaped ornament, verlamio between rays, reverse boar, 1.8 gms (CCB 1808.1; S 247). Obverse fine to very fine, lettering weak, reverse about fine, off-centre, dark patina (£30-40)

Verlamio = Verulanium (St. Albans), regarded as Tasciovanus’ principal mint.
