Trinovantes and Catuvellauni, Whaddon Chase type, gold Quarter-Stater, abstracted head of Apollo right, reverse horse to right, 1.4 gms (CCB 1478). Very fine for this poorly struck coinage, very rare (£150-200)

Not listed by Seaby. The type was not known to Evans or Mack; no examples in the British Museum at the time of the publication of Hobbs’ catalogue.
