Contrary to the information given in KM and Friedberg, the Cayman Is. 1977 so-called ‘Gold Queens Collection’ coins are a fraudulent issue in .500 clad gold with a copper core. Relating correspondence from World Coin News, 9 May 1989, p.6, is sold with the lot. The 1971 6-coin Trinidad & Tobago set, with a mintage of only 488, is one of the genuine modern proof set rarities, while the 1972 Franklin Mint 10 and 5 Dollars have mintages of only 125 and 250 respectively
