Robert Wiilam Stopher was born in Hampstead, Middlesex, lived in in West Hendon and enlisted at Marylebone, Middlesex. Serving with the 9th Battalion King’s Royal Rifle Corps, he was killed in action on 25 September 1915. He was buried in the Ypres Reservoir Cemetery, Ieper, Belgium.
