Indian Engineers. A 1930’s period Lieut-Colonel’s khaki Service Dress tunic and trousers bearing correct pattern ‘India’ bronze collar badges and brass buttons with star and ‘Indian Engineers’, medal ribbons for the MC WW1 trio (MID) etc., vendor’s research indicates the uniform to be that of C. A. G. Rundle; Indian Police, a senior officer’s blue cloth peaked forage cap with KC plated cap badge and similar chin strap buttons. Indian Marine, a small size printed linen red ensign bearing the Union cross in the upper canton and applied printed roundel showing the star, ‘Heavens Light Our Guide’ etc., two small blue linen pennants both with applied KCs and Indian roundels (one badly mothed); Regimental Photographs, a group of nineteen originals (some duplication) postcard to cabinet sizes, mainly officers and the majority c1890-1914.
