Meeanee Hyderabad 1843 (Wm. Tucker, 22nd Regt.) fitted with original steel clip and old replacement hinged-bar suspension, correct regimental naming but possibly with some corrections, contact marks and edge bruising, otherwise nearly very fine £400-500

William Tucker enlisted in the 22nd Foot in December 1832, subsequent muster rolls revealing that he served in Jamaica 1835-37 and Ireland 1837-41, in which latter year he was embarked for India. A confirmed participant in the battles at Meeanee in February 1843, and Hyderabad in the following month, he died in May 1846.
