Frank Terry was born in Clapton, London and living in Walthamstow, enlisted at Canterbury. Serving with the 9th Lancers, he died of wounds on 6 September 1914, aged 25 years. He was buried in the Perreuse Chateau Franco-British National Cemetery. He was the son of George and Harriet A. Terry of Chingford, Essex.
