Rifleman Algernon Bernard Boorman, 3rd Bn., Rifle Brigade, was killed in action in France on 18 August 1916, aged 20. He was the son of George and Amy Blanche Boorman, of Catford, Kent, and is commemorated in the Serre Road Cemetery No. 2.
