Sullivan, No. 1008 No. 9 Cy. 13th or P.A.L.I.) contemporary engraved naming, fitted with ring and straight bar suspension, edge bruising and contact marks, otherwise nearly very fine (2) £900-1200

No. 1008 Patrick Sullivan joined the 13th Foot, from the 16th Foot, in February 1840. He was promoted to Corporal in November 1842, but reduced to Private the following month, promoted again in March 1843, and promoted to Sergeant in March 1844. Entitled to medals for Cabul and Jellalabad, he embarked for England in October 1844.
