Fanny Eliza Cox was born in Bromley, Kent, on 2 February 1882. She entered the service of H.R.H. The Prince of Wales (later King George V) on 25 October 1907 as a Housemaid. Miss Cox was a recipient of the Coronation Medal of 1911 and in 1927 was awarded the Royal Household Faithful Service Medal. It is believed that she was also the recipient of the Italian Royal Service Medal of King Vittorio Emanuele III of Italy. Miss Cox retired in 1929. Late in life, on 18 October 1950, she married Arthur Goswell Logan in Poole, Dorset. She died in Selsey, Sussex, on 10 March 1975. Sold with copied birth, marriage and death certificates and some other research. Also with the booklet, King George V. Long and Faithful Service Medal, which lists recipients of that medal up to 1927 - Miss Cox was the 57th recipient of the medal.
